Interview-controlled telephone survey
A 7-8 minute telephone interview was identified as the most effective means of targeting a robust and relevant sample of HVAC professionals, with interviews conducted from a central Telephone Unit by trained/experienced interviewers while keeping Mitsubishi Electric anonymous.
Focused questionnaire content
The questionnaire was designed to enable coverage of the objectives, whilst ensuring that the research remained reliable, representative and engaging for participants. Six key heat pump manufacturers were used as prompts for comparative purposes in the interviews and all participants were free to name any manufacturer they deemed most applicable to each question.
